Jaxon’s Story

On March 31st, 2025, I unexpectedly lost my son Jaxon. I was 36 weeks along with a scheduled c-section at 37 weeks. I had everything ready for him to come home. Stillbirth was always something I had feared being a diabetic, but you never actually think it’s going to happen to you. It felt like the world had stopped. I can still hear the doctor telling me “I’m sorry, your baby has passed away." My world stopped but everyone else kept moving.

The day after I delivered my sweet sleeping baby, I was connected to Walk With You and Kylie reached out to me. She explained what it was all about; we talked, I cried, and she listened. I didn’t even know where to begin planning a funeral, or how things were done. I didn't know what I could do to make the most out of the time I had with my boy to honor the short amount of time I got with him. Walk With You supported me through the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through. Kylie continues to reach out to me to offer resources and support as well as other ways to keep Jaxon close and to honor him. I can’t thank everyone enough for everything they have done for me. Walk With You is a beautiful thing that I am so grateful to have had during this tragic time.

-Lexi, Jaxon's Mom (IA)
