Noah’s Story

Noah, also known as Little Man, Mr. Monkey Man, and most loved by his sissy as “Nona,” made sure to pack as much life as possible into his short four months. We spent family birthdays, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s together. His favorite holiday was Christmas, passing the time watching the glimmering lights on the Christmas tree.

Noah taught us to slow down and see the beauty in life’s most mundane moments. Noah was our particular little “old man,” needing his bum tapped just right, his paci in the correct spot, and always wanting to be cuddled in his mommy or daddy’s arms. He loved laying next to his twin sister, Ella, and letting his big sissy Avila take care of him as best as she could. Noah also loved his bubble baths, fleece blankets, onesies, and anything that kept him nice and warm. When Noah was in the hospital, he cuddled the nurses while watching Hallmark Christmas movies and made a friend out of everyone he met. We will forever cherish the many memories Noah gave us, holding them in our hearts forever—until heaven.

Looking back on the short four months of our sweet baby’s life with little to no regret is a gift we owe greatly to Walk With You. From Noah’s diagnosis at 13 weeks to his final breath at 4 months old, they truly walked beside us with so much thoughtfulness and intention. They guided us through each moment as it came - our pregnancy, early delivery, Noah’s life, and even his death and funeral planning. They provided ideas and guidance we wouldn’t have thought of on our own.

We greatly appreciate their provision of Noah’s casket from the Trappist monks of New Melleray Abbey and Noah’s customized sticker design. The symbolism and intentionality of the creation of these caskets by the Trappist monks and stickers by Walk With You mean so much to us in our own faith walks. Because of Walk With You, we have beautiful photos, keepsakes, and memories that allow us to cherish Noah’s life forever.
