Wyatt’s Story
Wyatt had Dravet syndrome, a rare and severe form of epilepsy that made life incredibly difficult. He faced more seizures, hospital stays, medications, and challenges than any child ever should. But through it all, Wyatt showed a strength and resilience that inspired everyone who knew him. His diagnosis was part of his story, but it never defined who he was.
Wyatt loved his German Shepherd, “Icky B,” watching Alvin and the Chipmunks, learning new things, giving the very best hugs, and cruising around in his little coupe car with the biggest smile on his face. He found joy in the little moments and had a way of making everyone around him smile right along with him.
Though Wyatt’s time on Earth was far too short, the love he left behind is endless. He is deeply missed by his mom, dad, little brother, and the countless family members, friends, doctors, and advocates who loved him so much. His story continues to inspire others to learn about Dravet syndrome, support research, and cherish every moment with the people they love.
Wyatt’s legacy isn’t defined by the challenges he faced—it’s defined by the courage he showed, the joy he spread, and the love he gave so freely. He will forever be remembered as a brave little boy with the biggest heart, whose light continues to shine in the lives of everyone who knew him.
